Free 30-day plan · for contractors

30 days of 10-minute Google fixes for contractors whose phone isn’t ringing.

Even if you’ve never logged into your Google profile, or don’t know who set it up.

One task a day, in order: the exact steps, the words to send your customers, and a box to tick. Straight from Google’s own rules.

Free · no card · it opens right here

Sound familiar?

You do good work. Someone else gets the call.

Your profile’s half finished

You set it up years ago, or somebody did it for you. The hours are off, the newest photo is of your old truck, and you’re not sure which email owns it.

The reviews stopped

Customers say they’ll leave one. Nobody does, because nobody sent them the link.

Someone else shows up first

The map puts a competitor above you, with more photos and newer reviews, and the homeowner calls the first one that looks real.

No time for a 40-step guide

Every article says “optimize your profile”. None of them say what to do first, or fit it around a work day.

Imagine opening your profile on day 30: verified, every field filled in, this month’s job photos up, and a reply under every review.

Ten minutes a day got you there.

What’s inside

Thirty days. Four weeks and a finish.

  • Week 1

Seven fixes to your name, category, towns, hours and services so Google shows the right business to the right searches.

  • Week 2

Photo tasks for your jobs, truck and crew so homeowners see real work before they call.

  • Week 3

The words to ask every customer and answer every review so asking takes one text after every job.

  • Week 4

Bing, Facebook, Yelp and the rest matched to Google so your name and number are right wherever they find you.

  • Days 29–30

The two-tap test on your own website so the tap from Google turns into a call.

  • Every day

Copy-ready texts, a box to tick and a printable PDF so you never stare at a blank screen.

A real page from inside

This is Day 17, word for word.

No made-up results and no borrowed testimonials. Just the plan, so you can judge it yourself.

  • Every rule links to its source: Google’s own help pages, the FTC and the federal rule text.
  • Written by Salty Web Co, a firefighter-owned web studio in Round Lake, Illinois. We set up the Google profile on every site we build; this is that list, in order.
  • Nothing to buy inside. Day 30 mentions our free mockup once, for anyone whose website fails the two-tap test.

Send the ask

Why: The same plain words to everyone, offering nothing, asking for no stars and no particular words. That’s the ask Google allows.

Do this

  1. Copy the text below, fill in the [brackets] and send it to the first 10 people on your list.
  2. Send the rest over the next two days, so it doesn’t read like a mass blast.
  3. Never offer a discount, a gift card or anything else for a review.
Text to send

Hi [Name], it’s [Your name] with [Company]. Thanks again for having us do your [job]. If you have a minute, we’d appreciate an honest Google review: [review link]

Will it work for you?

If customers call you to come to them, it’s built for you.

It’s for

  • Roofers, concrete, landscaping, HVAC, plumbers, electricians, fencing, tree work: any trade that goes to the customer
  • Owners who can give it 10 minutes a day for a month
  • Profiles that are half done, years old, or never claimed

It’s not for

  • Businesses that never meet customers in person: Google’s guidelines don’t give them a profile
  • Anyone after bought reviews or keyword-stuffed names: this plan follows Google’s rules, and those break them
  • Overnight results: nobody controls Google’s rankings, and this plan doesn’t pretend to
Straight answers

Questions, before you ask.

Is the 30-day plan really free?
Yes. Tell us your name, business and phone, and the plan opens right away, with a PDF to keep. No card. We may check in once to see how it’s going.
How long does each day take?
About 10 minutes for most days. Verification is the one step that waits on Google, which says its review can take up to 5 business days, so the plan starts it on Day 1.
What if I don’t have a Google Business Profile yet?
Day 1 walks you through creating one, or claiming the one Google may already show for your business. Google says creating a profile is free.
Do I need a website to use it?
No. Days 1 to 28 are your Google profile and your other listings. Days 29 and 30 check your website, or what you use instead of one.
Who made the plan?
Salty Web Co, a firefighter-owned web studio in Round Lake, Illinois. We set up or clean up the Google profile on every website we build, and every rule in the plan links to Google’s or the FTC’s own page.
